The Finoff transilluminator is a medical instrument used for transscleral illumination of the eye. It helps physicians to detect intraocular abnormalities such as tumors, hemorrhages or other pathologies, especially in patients with limited vision through the pupil (e.g. due to cataract).

This model eye is ideal for teaching and practice. The pupil diameter and refractive error can be set exactly and are therefore reproducible. The front lens compartment holder accepts up to two trial lenses. The cylinder can be read from the graduated scale.
