Exclusive battery performance indicator: When the instrument is switched on, the maximum light intensity is shown, then the light intensity is regulated down to the level that corresponds to the current charge status of the battery so you know when your batteries need changing.

If you consider the ordering costs, the shipping costs and the costs of changing the bulb itself, the upgrade pays for itself after around 3 XHL bulb purchases. Since the LED-HQ lamp consumes less power, the single-use battery or the battery charge lasts longer, and the rechargeable batteries’ durability is also increased since charging is required less often. The X CHANGE Smartphone Adapter magnetically connects the BETA X Otoscope to a smartphone quickly and easily, allowing practitioners to capture digital images.
For digitally documenting images, seeking a second opinion or sharing images when discussing findings with patients. The smartphone adapter has been optimized for use with the Apple iPhone* in conjunction with the HEINE Auris App (available from the App Store).
The smartphone adapter is inserted into the BETA X Otoscope instead of the magnification module (X CHANGE System 4.2x Magnifier or 3x Magnifier). To attach the adapter to the smartphone, a suitable phone case with a hard polycarbonate or acrylic glass back is required.
